Some information about the Club for you – Which was first formed as ‘Narberth Jazz Club’ in 1993.

Narberth Jazz is a properly constituted voluntary group with legal status as a “Charity Incorporated Organisation (CIO)” as registered with the Charity Commission. We were formed to continue and progress the sterling work done by SPAN Jazz in the past in bringing you the best possible live music from the very broad realm designated by the small word Jazz.

The constitution explains this as “Narberth Jazz Club shall promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of, the art and science of jazz music in all its aspects, by the presentation of public concerts and educational activities.”

The present committee consists of ten local  people who have pledged to represent all people who care for the live music scene in the Narberth neighbourhood and keep high quality jazz performances happening here.

Our current plans include an outdoor celebration of the return to live music as social events in mid July and a monthly music event through the rest of the year at The Plas Hotel Narberth. In the long term we want to develop music tuition for learners and create a jazz group in Narberth.

We will have a membership scheme at an affordable cost which will entitle members to discounts on tickets, newsletters and other special treats.
